LIGHT Provides Empowering Workshop to Kapampangan Youths

20 out of school youths from Pampanga attended an empowering workshop hosted by TPKI (Talete king Panyulung Kapampangan Inc.) Foundation in partnership with LIGHT (Lead with Integrity and Good Governance in Helping Communities for Holistic Transformation) Microfinance, Inc., and IJM (International Justice Mission) on May 11-13, 2016 at the TPKI Head Office.

The beneficiaries of the workshop received a values formation seminar on the first day facilitated by LIGHT, a livelihood training on peanut butter, polvoron, banana chips, and potato chips making and chocolate molding on the second day by TPKI, and a financial literacy seminar from LIGHT on the third and final day.

This workshop, in partnership with TPKI and IJM, is part of LIGHT’s goal in helping communities get out of poverty through financial literacy and teaching them new ways on how they can make a living,” said Emman Manlapaz, LIGHT NFS (Non-Financial Services) Coordinator.
