Together with the Board of Trustees, all staff of LIGHT Microfinance, Inc. Main Office participated in the organization’s outreach program with The Children’s Home of Mary The Eucharist as part of its 2023 Christmas Fellowship themed, “Alab ng Pasko”. This was held last December 20, 2023, at Angeles City, Pampanga.
Fr. Eddie Panlilio, Chairman, read the book of Luke 2:8-20, sharing the saving grace of God through the birth of Jesus Christ. In addition, Noel Alipio, President, shared the relevance of the lyrics of Go Tell It On The Mountains, integrating its meaning and encouraging us to tell the world of the goodness of God.
Lastly, Executive Director, Concepcion Diana, talked about the essence of Christmas with emphasis on the joy coming from the Lord. “Hindi man namin kayo kasama sa pasko, kasama naman natin ang Diyos araw-araw,” she said.
The children and staff participated in the games facilitated by Jollibee crew and LIGHT Microfinance, Inc. personnel. They also performed dancing trends as part of their warm thanksgiving to the organization’s extending hand.
Sister Theresa Macalinao, Franciscan Community of Sisters of Mary the Eucharist (FCSME) Secretary, offered her thanksgiving to LIGHT Microfinance, Inc., saying, “You really are a channel of blessings, and we pray that God blesses you with abundant life.”
The organization ended the program by providing food and giving gifts to the children and a powerful prayer offered by Girlie Tering-tering, OIC Director, Operations Group.
